***** UN Security Council calls on Iraq's leaders to the fastest in the formation of a government that represents the will and sovereignty of the people

Welcomed the members of the UN Security Council to conduct the Iraqi parliamentary elections, praising the Iraqi people to prove his commitment to a peaceful political process, inclusive and democratic.
Board members expressed in a joint statement on Thursday "looked forward to the announcement of the Electoral Commission for elections, the results of the election and appealed to all political entities to work together in an inclusive political process aimed at strengthening national unity, sovereignty and independence of Iraq."
He called on members of Iraq's leaders "to participate, as soon as possible, in the formation of a government that represents the will and sovereignty of the Iraqi people," stressing that "Iraq can through its democratic institutions and cooperation with the community to address the challenges they are facing and to achieve the desire of everyone in Iraq is strong and independent, unified and democratic."
