Path Solutions at the Iraqi-Lebanese Banking Conference

Organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group, the Iraqi-Lebanese Banking Conference took place on the 25 & 26 April at the Movenpick Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon, under the patronage of the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Central Bank of Iraq and in cooperation with the Iraqi Private Banks League and the Association of Banks in Lebanon.

Held under the theme “A Fruitful Cooperation to Promote Mutual Banking Relations”, this conference discussed the potentials of the Iraqi and Lebanese banking sectors, while addressing the challenges faced by the banking industry in these two markets. Being the first event of its kind in the region, the conference witnessed the participation of more than 300 delegates from Lebanese and Iraqi banking, investment and governmental sectors, as well as a number of parliament members and banking regulatory bodies.
