Resulted in discussions between representatives of the public and private sectors on the revitalization of the Iraqi economy and improve the system of banking to meet the requirements of development and investment and rehabilitation of Iraq to join the World Trade Organization recommendations to bring the national economy from recession to start to suit the capabilities of the country's financial and human resources and its natural place in the international community .
These recommendations included several topics , mainly the formation of economic council to draw the country's economic policies in their various sectors , including industrial, agricultural , tourism, construction and services, with the contribution of private sector representatives in the membership of the Council , along with the establishment of the Bank of developmental supportive of the industrial sector and other productive sectors with the use of the principles of rational in Business Administration , for the purpose of achieving the goal of a sophisticated banking system development and investment .
And the holding of the General Conference to revitalize the Iraqi economy under the auspices of the Federation of Iraqi businessmen in cooperation with the Center for International Projects , after numerous discussions and seminars with the participation of officials and experts from the public and mixed sectors and private , produced many of the recommendations in the hope of application on the ground .
An informed source in the Union stated »Sabah » , the most prominent out by the Conference of the points supporting the revitalization of the Iraqi economy , the formation of the small and medium enterprises linked to the Council of Ministers to give them special attention to the start of operation and concessional financing for such projects , including business incubators and the issuance of the law and the allocation of the necessary funds therefore, as well as to take over the cabinet formation « the administrative reform » to develop institutional management and selection of cadres efficient and eliminate red tape and facilitate procedures and achieve transparency and integrity , as well as to speed up the formation of a coordinating body higher among private sector institutions to unify the opinion and decision-making and follow-up implementation.
The source pointed to one of the recommendations provided to facilitate the procedures for the granting of loans by the banks with the right to monitor the spending in the right direction and the acceptance of ensuring the machinery , equipment and book stocks and the development of a reference book rather than a mortgage in order to guarantee the loans and not to deduct the interest of the loan amount in advance , as well as non-discrimination between the government and private banks in government transactions with the private sector .
He stressed the need to implement the strategy and national comprehensive development of the Iraqi economy in all sectors in order to create the conditions for accession to the World Trade Organization , and attention to legislative aspects and practical rules and reconsider all relevant legislation and harmonization of joining with the requirements of the terms of accession.
As for the Iraqi team negotiating with members of the organization called the source to support and develop the capabilities of this team technically and procedures required to ensure the benefit of joining the interests of Iraq's present and future and to benefit also from the Angels that participated in the negotiation of the former and in consultation continuing to team with private sector institutions .
