A member of the coalition of the Liberal Bahaa al-Araji, said that all the components of the National Alliance, could nominate a prime minister, in case of availability of the points that could qualify him for this position, pointing out that the coalition did not raise specific names to the table of dialogue between the components of the blocks.


He said al-Araji, told all of Iraq [where] that "all the political blocs consisting of the National Alliance, has the right to nominate a prime minister, if they have points sufficient for this nomination," adding, "but has yet to nominate names of actual within the National Alliance."


The Prime Minister announced the outgoing head of the coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, yesterday, that he would not give up the nomination for the position of prime minister, pointing out that a coalition of state law, the owner of the largest parliamentary bloc in the third parliamentary session of the Council of Representatives.


It is noteworthy that the first meeting of the House of Representatives were held Tuesday, echoed the new members sworn in, while the postponement of the meeting of the President of the Age, to the failure of the blocs to nominate a candidate for the presidency of the Council and his two deputies, and was to adjourn the meeting for a week, or until notified blocs head age, they arrived agreement on candidates for office, and demand the convening of the meeting.


According to reports, citing informed sources, that several names on the table for the position of prime minister, the National Alliance being the largest parliamentary bloc, most notably Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, a candidate for the rule of law, and the office manager Tarek Najm, instead of him and the two leading figures of the coalition of citizen [Adel Abdul Mahdi and Ahmed Chalabi.
