Jaafari: It's time to bring back compulsory service in the Iraqi army
Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -23 September: called Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Parliament to enact a law that would impose mandatory military service, pointing out that the situation in Iraq, calling for approval as soon as.

The Foreign Minister pointed out that "the regulation does not threaten Iraq alone, but threatens the whole world, and the international community to launch military strikes on sites fighters."
It is said that the controversy over re-compulsory military service in Iraq dates back to May / May of 2012.
