Strategic financial management system reform in Parliament

Plans to the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives to continue the reform of public financial management system as stated in the government program for the year 2014.ons the government program on the application of the electronic system of private management of public finances of the state and the trend towards the adoption of the budget programs, performance and implementation of the reform programs of the tax system and financial taking into consideration the lack of weights the shoulders of the poor and the middle and strengthen internal oversight function through the assessment of internal financial controls, including the role of internal auditors and inspectors general and the reduction of the phenomenon of smuggling and money laundering in implementation of commitments made by Iraq in the framework of the FATF for the Middle East and North Africa and give it the utmost importance.

A member of the Finance Committee Mezni Mazen, Member of Parliament for the Liberal block: that the reform of the financial management system in the coming period will be a priority of the work of the Parliamentary Finance Committee because of their genuine desire in this matter.

He said in his speech for the "morning" that the committee saw in their first meeting that there is a desire among its members to work professionally in this matter and leave the issue of the politicization of the state budget, as happened during the last term and work professionally to repair and clear of the financial management of the country.

 Iraq has suffered from a lack of financial management system and one perfect fit for the application in all countries and under different circumstances, but the appropriate system is the one that should take the process of design into consideration many of the frameworks and environmental dimensions, which include strategic state, the nature of the organizational structure, the nature of the political philosophy that adopted by the ruling elite, the size of government, the level of technological development, the opportunities and challenges offered by the surrounding environment and the legal environment for the performance of the ruling government.

In addition, said a member of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Iraqi forces demanded Architect: The Commission plans to launch a strategic plan for its work over the coming years.

He added in his "morning", that this plan could rise by financial management in the country and make it to the refineries, the neighboring countries and the world.
