House extend legislative term first one month and discusses the financial austerity measures

Decided the Presidency of the Council of Representatives at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Mr. Saleem al-Jubouri, President of the Council and in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Hamoudi, and Deputy Chairman of the Board, Mr. Aram Sheikh Mohammed, on Wednesday 29/10/2014, with Messrs heads of blocs and parliamentary committees to extend the first chapter legislature for one month.

Mr. Speaker announced at the outset of the meeting, which was held at the Constitutional Hall of the Council for the extension of the legislative term first for the House of Representatives, which expires tomorrow, and one month in accordance with the constitutional context to be a legislative recess appointment linked to the arrival of the financial budget for 2015 to the council.

Mr. al-Jubouri, and stressed the importance of the role of the committees in the legislative work, calling to speed up the resolution of the presidencies of the parliamentary committees.
