Cabinet forms committees economy, energy and reconstruction services

BAGHDAD / obelisk: Council of Ministers decided, on Wednesday, the formation of three sectoral committees, as agreed to entrust the Minister of Agriculture under the chairmanship of the Committee on the agricultural initiative.

The Prime Minister said Haider al-Abadi's office said in a statement, "The Council of Ministers decided at its eighth regular held in Baghdad, headed by Abadi formation of three sectoral committees."

The office added that "committees are the Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy Committee and the Committee on Reconstruction and services," noting that "the Council authorized the Prime Minister in consultation with the heads of his deputies to nominate committees and their deputies."

He pointed out that "The Council also approved the establishment of the Ministerial Committee for National Security functions according to established law, also agreed to assign the Minister of Agriculture on behalf of the Commission, headed by agricultural initiative headed by the Prime Minister."

The Council of Ministers decided, earlier Wednesday, the vote on the rules of procedure in a maximum period of two weeks, as he emphasized the importance of supporting the popular crowd and work to make ends meet and pay their salaries.
