After Iraq's liberation from Chapter VII of the UN Charter restrictions, especially with respect to commercial transactions that were to Ataatm only by international mediators, who led not they can deliver on their commitments to the waste of public money, show the need to reconsider this matter, especially that the country has more than 30 commercial Attaché distributed between around the world.

And witnessing the Commerce Department action on this issue during a meeting with the minister Mlas Abdul Karim with a number of ambassadors from several countries to Iraq to discuss the development of ways to trade and economic cooperation between Iraq and their countries and the possibilities of enhancing them in addition to the possibility of activating the joint committees and the signing of agreements offered to negotiate or new memorandums of understanding in various economic and trade fields that meet the needs of Iraq.

In this context, the economic academic said Dr. Essam Mohamed Hassan: that Iraq has 32 commercial Attaché distributed among the various countries of the world by 9 in the continent of Europe and 17 in Asia and three in Africa and one each from Australia, the United States and Latin America.

Hassan said in a statement (morning): This attaché is an important part of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry of Commerce, where she Interface Iraq in countries where commercial attache offices there because they know foreign investors in that country's investment opportunities that are available in the country.

  He explained: that the work of the department is to develop trade and economic relations and cooperation with the countries of the Arab world, regional and international organizations, especially those that are associated with Iraq agreements or memoranda of understanding or joint committees held annually to review the agreements in the interests of the two countries.

Hassan pointed out that the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry of Commerce involved in supplying the attaché angels efficient to raise the level of performance, which will be reflected on the trade and economic progress in Iraq with the outside world.


The Minister of Trade Mlas Mohammed Abdul Karim met with the ambassadors of Japan, Turkey and Romania, countries in both the Baghdad alone to discuss ways to develop economic and trade relations between Iraq and countries.

The minister stressed the need for direct interaction between the governments of Iraq and those countries without the intervention of trading intermediaries who is inversely to yield negative business dealings between those countries by not honoring their commitments mediators that led to the waste of public money.

The minister called during the meeting, the ambassadors of those countries to increase the volume of investments for projects inside Iraq and to serve the common interests of each.
For their part, assured the ambassadors of those countries full readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Commerce to activate the economic and trade relations to meet the needs of Iraq, which is engaged in cleansing their areas of guerrilla war (Daash) criminal.
