Ministry of Finance announced on Sunday, for a joint meeting with the Ministry of Planning and Finance Committee in Parliament to discuss the budget in 2015, and showed that it was stressed that the current financial and economic crisis requires everyone's cooperation to overcome.

The ministry said in a press statement, "Alsumaria News" received a copy of it, he was "at the initiative of the Ministry of Finance was held, on Thursday evening, a joint meeting between the Ministry of Finance and Planning ministries and the president and members of the Finance Committee in the Parliament to discuss the 2015 budget."

The ministry added that "During the meeting, Draft Budget Committee members, procedures and plans for the ministry to rationalize expenses and cover the deficit and the search for a new non-oil resources," noting that it "has, in the spirit of solidarity, discuss ideas proposed and proposals by parliamentarians to be included in the budget law with Confirmation that the current financial and economic crisis requires a combination of all the efforts and cooperation of everyone to overcome these difficulties. "

The Prime Minister's Office confirmed Haider al-Abadi, in (December 9, 2014), the completion of the draft federal budget for the year 2015 law in the coming days, while noting that it will be presented after the next session of the Council of Ministers discussed.

It is noteworthy that Abadi office said, in (November 29, 2014), the Council of Ministers formed a ministerial committee to determine cut expenses all ministries in order to reduce the budget deficit in 2015, and that the Committee will submit its recommendations within a week to address and reduce the projected deficit.
