Cabinet discusses the reduction of the budget deficit in 2015 to 15 billion

Cabinet will discuss at its emergency today, on Thursday, the mechanism of reducing the budget deficit in 2015 to 15 billion dinars.

According to an informed source told all of Iraq [where] that "the Council of Ministers, a mechanism and a formula to reduce the budget deficit to 15 billion dinars, to allow the House to approve it."

"The mechanism, which will hopefully be adopted, to reduce the deficit is to increase taxes on energy companies, mobile phone companies, and a number of other companies."

He continued: it is hoped that the Council of Ministers held an emergency meeting this evening [at six o'clock, to discuss the issue of the budget and the mechanism to be followed to reduce the shortfall in them.
