********** An agreement in principle for the management of joint oil fields with Kuwait

Baghdad \ Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - spokesman said the Office of the Prime Minister Saad al-Sabri, the Abadi raising the issue of common wells with Kuwait in his recent visit and come to an agreement in principle, to work shared between the two countries, the management and coordination to invest in oil wealth in these wells .

On the other hand the oil ministry spokesman Assem Jihad told (IMN), that "the Kuwaiti-Iraqi Committee severed years ago a long way in the organization of joint management of the wells, has reached a formula to resolve all outstanding issues in accordance with international laws."
It is noteworthy that the Kuwaiti delegation that visited Iraq last year talked about joint oil fields was preparing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries but did not do.
It is noteworthy that 15 oil fields shared between Iran and Iraq and Kuwait is not the work so far, because of the failure to reach a final agreement formula to invest.
