Newspaper: Former ministers fled Iraq and billions of dollars recovered billion of frozen funds

The newspaper "life" of London revealed Friday that Iraq recovered billion dollars of his money frozen in a number of countries, as pointed out that ministers of the previous government fled billions of dollars abroad.
The newspaper said in a report on its issue today and seen by "Alsumaria News", "The Finance Committee in the Iraqi parliament announced the recovery of billion dollars of frozen funds in a number of countries," indicating that "the government is seeking to recover what is left."
The newspaper added that "the Commission emphasized that the second legislative term of the parliament will activate smuggled money and frozen file, and mechanisms recovered in coordination with the concerned authorities."
The newspaper said a source in the Parliamentary Integrity Committee told her that "the Commission has a lot of evidence and documents that attest to the involvement of political figures in the previous government (the government of Nuri al-Maliki) smuggling billions of dollars abroad will be those documents submitted to the competent courts to decide upon."
It is said that in the capital, Baghdad hosted (April 9, 2014), an international seminar on the recovery of the looted money, which called for former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to adopt a global policy to recover funds leaked Iraq.
