A statement from the joint of the two committees, said that "the committees of the oil and energy and natural resources in the federal parliament, Industry and Energy and Natural Resources in Kurdistan Parliament, agreed on coordination and cooperation in the laws and follow-up, monitoring and regulating relations in the field of oil and gas and natural resources legislation."

The statement added that "the agreement to ensure access, supervision and follow-up on the agreements between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government agreements in the field of oil and gas, energy, natural resources and work on Damomcitha, implementation and identify the obstacles they face and to express an opinion to the convergence of views", adding that "the coming days will witness cooperation joint between the two committees to study the draft laws relating to oil and gas, energy, natural resources and other relevant laws, under the Constitution. "


According to the joint statement from the two committees meeting that they "have agreed to contribute to and participate in the preparation of development programs for the rehabilitation and training members of the two committees in the field of competence, and hold a joint hearing between the two committees and special sessions to study and discuss the relevant draft laws, tasks Committees, with experts and specialists and authorities and concerned."
