"

This came during a meeting with al-Abadi in his office, on Thursday, the World Bank in the Middle East director of the North Africa Fred Belhadj, the Special Representative of the Mission of the World Bank in Iraq Robert quality PU; where they discussed the challenges faced by the Iraqi economy due to lower global oil prices and the restructuring of the Iraqi economy and rehabilitation and support the government and the private sector, and turn challenges faced by Iraq to the real and effective opportunities for reform as well as follow-up resulted in a meeting with the Prime Minister and the Director of the World Bank on the sidelines of the Forum (Davos) and the World in January.

Abadi and pointed to the government's determination to activate the "retirement system" ensures the rights of all Iraqis, including those working in the private sectors, and added: "We are currently working on projects for the development of the private sector and the creation of new jobs."

For his part, the World Bank delegation stressed the keenness and determination of the bank to provide all assistance to Iraq and his willingness to assist in the creation of programs and projects to revitalize the government banks, and cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq, and rehabilitation of state-owned enterprises, as well as supporting projects in infrastructure such as electricity, water and others. Pointing to the existence of the list of projects currently in power as a "Hartha" project and water tanks in Baghdad.
