Member of Finance Committee: the Kurdish language and pictures of famous landmarks of Kurdistan will be printed in the new currency

According to a member of the Finance Committee of the National Alliance MP for the Secretary Hadi Abbas, the new currency that will see the introduction of the Kurdish language in addition to Arabic and English.

Abbas said (of the Agency news) said on Monday: The new currency deleted zeros will enter the Kurdish language and features images from the territory of Kurdistan on both sides, the most important waterfall completely to Beck, indicating, that the English language will be allocated only to the numbers (a number and writing).

He added that the central bank is going according to the articles of the constitution which provides for the introduction of the Kurdish language in all official transactions, and the bank, independent and impartial body not related to the internal conflict between Baghdad and Erbil.

He explained: that the new currency will go through several stages starting bank agreement

The central and the Ministry of Finance and the central government on the date of issue and then deal with companies that will be printed according to international standards, and after the phase of destruction of the old currency and the descent of the new currency to the market and planned at the beginning of the year (2013).
