Been watching this currency and as sanctions tighten, the value drops. I suspect once sanctions are loosened it will rise.
I will try and find some articles to post to back up my assertion. It may end up being a good play.

Here is an ebay post were to buy Iranian Riels. I think the price is a little on the high side, but it does show that they are starting to garner interest across the net.
