Japan finance minister calls on China to more transparency in order to become an international currency the yuan

Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso on Friday called on China to make the management of the economy more transparent so that it can help the yuan to become a global currency.
Aso told reporters after a cabinet meeting when asked about the prospects for the inclusion of the yuan in the currency basket of the IMF "would be useful if the yuan become a global currency."
Aso was also asked about unexpected discussion in the meeting of finance ministers of the Group of Twenty next week in Peru, he said that the global economy is facing downside risks because of the uncertainty surrounding the expectations of economic growth in the 29 Chin.
