According to oil expert Amr Hisham, that the decision of the Ministry of Oil to cancel holding company "Chevron" U.S. specialized for the extraction and exploration of oil because they operate in the Kurdistan Region will hurt the Iraqi oil sector because it is one of the global companies and advanced in this area.
Said Hisham (of the Agency news) on Wednesday: that Iraq desperately needs to contract with international oil companies advanced technology and advanced in the field of oil to increase Taqtin production and export of oil, which is (95%) of the total imports of the Iraqi state, and the expulsion of international companies and the abolition of rehabilitation will be attached damage to the national economy and the oil sector.

And: that the federal government and the oil ministry if pursued a policy dimensions of international oil companies under the pretext that they operate in Kurdistan, they will rely on small businesses that do not have a long tradition in the field of oil and thus will cause big problems for the country, including the delay in the implementation of projects strategy that does not have enough experience in this area, called the Oil Ministry to reverse its decision to serve the national economy.
