Parliamentary committee plans to call officials from the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance

Confirmed the Parliamentary Finance Committee, on Monday, it will
summon officials in the Iraqi Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance
(without specifying the functional grades) during the week to see
through them on the procedures applied to maintain the exchange rate of
the Iraqi dinar compared with hard currency.


A member of the Commission secretary Hadi was quoted by the agency of
Kurdistan that "the Finance Committee held last week on the
deliberations of the Iraqi dinar exchange rate and procedures of the
Central Bank and Ministry of Finance, where the Commission requested
data on new procedures in place."


Hadi said that "the Commission will call this week, officials from the
Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance for the procedures applied to
maintain the stability of the exchange rate on the grounds that the
House of Representatives on the control of the executive bodies."


He added, "we will share over the adoption of the Bank and the Ministry
of Finance of the proper solutions in the case of maintaining the
exchange rate and foreign exchange procedures for sale in the auction
day."


And saw the price of the dollar compared to a rise in local currency
during the past few days, which officials attributed to a local banking
companies, the central bank to stop sales of hard currency.
