Arbil September 12 (AKnews) - The decision of the oil and gas in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, the second meeting on the draft law of oil and gas will be held Wednesday in the House of Representatives, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, noting that the Kurdistan region has not reached to participate in the meeting.

Qasim Mohammed, qasm mahamad He Qassim Mohammed, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) "in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani, Minister of Oil Abdul Karim and coffee, will be held today a special meeting to determine the draft law of oil and gas, to be approved in the House of Representatives."

It is said that a committee of six members of the legal committee of parliamentary, and six members of the Commission on oil and gas parliamentary formed by the Presidency of the Council to choose one projects oil and gas laws and adoption legally ratified by the House of Representatives, the Committee held that includes a Kurdish in composition, its first on August 29 last year.

For his part, Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan region, Ashti Hawrami (Rn) that "the Kurdistan not been informed by any party to convene a meeting of the Commission for the Unification of the three bills proposed oil and gas emanating from the Iraqi parliament, in order to participate in it."

It is said that there are three bills currently in the Iraqi parliament, was presented first project in 2007, but due to the failure to reach a consensus on it hung in the House of Representatives, and the second project was presented by the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary, either third project has been sent to the House of Representatives in 2011 by the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani, however, none of these projects have not yet attained ratification by Parliament so far.
