Cabinet approves e-government action to curb corruption

Council of Ministers announced on Tuesday, he agreed to re-work project of e-government to curb the rampant corruption state institutions.
The Prime Minister said Haider al-Abadi told a news conference that "the Council of Ministers approved during its meeting held today, the restoration of the e-governance project to curb rampant corruption state institutions and the completion of transactions of the citizens as soon as possible."
He added that "today's session saw the vote on the protection of sports facilities Act, which ensures athletes slice of the country's requirements and work to protect these facilities from the excesses and abuses, as well as for the approval of the Investment Promotion Law, which provides assurances of foreign investment firms to carry out projects in Iraq in support of the local economy in lost the decline in world oil prices. "
Abadi said that "the Council of Ministers prepared a draft budget for the first two ways are the spending cuts that guarantee the allocation of a large amount of money of the oil revenue to fill the shortfall, and the second is to increase imports by encouraging investment activities of internal and fees to deal with the domestic economy from the current crisis."
