The delegation of Kurdistan reveals Baghdad's response to the referendum on independence

شفق نيوز/ اعلنت عضو في وفد المجلس الاعلى للاستفتاء الى بغداد، اليوم السبت، ان جميع الاطراف ابلغت الوفد ان الاستفتاء حق للكورد الا ان توقيته غير مناسب. A member of the delegation of the Supreme Council for Referendum in Baghdad said on Saturday that all parties informed the delegation that the referendum is a right of the Kurds, but its timing is not appropriate.

وقالت فيان دخيل ان الوفد اصر خلال اللقاءات التي عقدها في بغداد على ان الاستفتاء سيجرى في موعده كونه من حق لهم. During the meetings held in Baghdad, the delegation insisted that the referendum would take place on time as it was their right.

واضافت ان الاطراف العراقية ايضا تقول ان الاستفتاء من حق الكورد الا ان توقيته غير مناسب، لافتة الى انها ساقت حرب "داعش" والاوضاع الاقتصادية في العراق كاسباب لطلب التأجيل. It added that the Iraqi parties also say that the referendum is the right of the Kurds, but its timing is not appropriate, pointing out that it stoked the war, "urging" and the economic situation in Iraq as reasons for the request for postponement.

وتابعت دخيل ان الكورد لم يعد لهم ثقة بالاتفاقيات وتنفيذ مطالبهم لذا يرون ان من الضروري تواجد طرف دولي لمراقبة تنفيذ الاتفاقيات من اجل الا تتنصل عنها بغداد، حسب تعبيرها. Dakhil added that the Kurds no longer have confidence in the agreements and the implementation of their demands, so they believe it is necessary to have an international party to monitor the implementation of the agreements so as not to evade them Baghdad, as she put it.

وردا على سؤال بشأن مقترح كوردي بان بدخول امريكا في العملية كمراقب لها، اجابت دخيل الوفد مازال في طور اجراء اللقاءات وسيعقد الوفد غدا اجتماعا مع اللجنة التي شكلها التحالف الوطني لمتابعة موضوع الاستفتاء. In response to a question on the Kurdish proposal that the entry of America in the process as an observer, Dakhil replied that the delegation is still in the process of holding meetings and will hold a meeting tomorrow with a committee formed by the National Alliance to follow up the subject of the referendum.

واوضحت ان الوفد يسعى للوصول لنتائج ترضي الجانبين، لافتة الى ان الحوارات مستمرة من اجل الخروج بنتيجة تامة، حسب تعبيرها She explained that the delegation seeks to reach results satisfactory to the two sides, pointing out that the dialogues are continuing to achieve a complete result, as she put it
