Samson:  Contract workers demonstrate in front of the Finance House and prevent ministry staff from entering

Hundreds of employees of contracts and wages on Tuesday, in front of the Ministry of Finance to demand the payment of salaries accumulated for several months, while preventing the staff of the ministry to enter the building. 

"Hundreds of contract workers and daily workers demonstrated today in front of the Ministry of Finance building to demand the payment of their salaries accumulated for several months," the correspondent said. 

The reporter added that "the demonstrators prevented the staff of the ministry to enter in protest against the position of the ministry negative on the issue of the payment of salaries, although not long after their work without receiving their monthly benefits.   LINK


Samson:  Baghdad Council reveals referral of "serious files" to integrity

 3rd July, 2018

The head of the Integrity Committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council Sadiq Zamili, on Tuesday, the transfer files of corruption, "serious and large" to the Integrity Commission, pointing out that those files belong to the previous local governments.

"The Integrity Committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council has been able to refer a number of large and serious files that have been investigated and proved the existence of financial and administrative corruption to the Integrity Commission," Zamili said in a statement.

He added that "all the files investigated by the former local governments," noting that "there are political interventions in the case of disclosure of corruption files."

The member of the Committee Ali Khudair accused in a previous statement to / information / / local governments to "waste" huge amounts of money amounting to 1200 billion dinars, noting that it did not achieve any significant achievements.    LINK

Samson:  Planning sets a bank commission for liquidating government bonds

 3rd July, 2018

The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday a bank commission for liquidating government bonds, noting that the commission will not exceed 0.2% of the value of the bond

The Director General of the General Government Contracts Department of the Ministry, Azhar Hussein Saleh, in a statement seen by "Economy News", "The Department issued a general to the contractual formations in the ministries and entities not associated with the Ministry and all provinces of a bank commission for the liquidation of government bonds, To charge a bank commission against the liquidation of government bonds granted to the contractors for their dues not more than 0.2% of the value of the bond

Saleh added that "the government banks will provide a financial intermediary service on behalf of the Central Bank of Iraq, starting from the fiscal year 2018," noting that "the procedures will be adapted through the boards of government-related banks in accordance with the directive."

On April 10, 2016, the central bank announced the approval of the financial crisis cell for its proposal to issue government bonds to pay the debts of contractors and processors to state institutions   LINK
