Parliament votes on its rules of procedure and forms a committee to set up amendments within 15 days

The House of Representatives on Tuesday voted on its rules of procedure and formed a committee to make amendments to it within 15 days.
Media reports said that the parliament voted in its second session on its current rules of procedure, pointing to the formation of a committee headed by First Vice President, Hassan al-Kaabi, to make the necessary amendments to the system within fifteen days.
The meeting was attended by 173 deputies. Earlier, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi opened its second regular session to discuss several issues, including the Basra crisis, in the presence of the two ministers of water resources, Hassan al-Janabi and al-Ammar.
