Barzani party announced the failure of the agreement on a single candidate for the presidency of Iraq

The Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Barzani, the failure of the agreement to provide a single Kurdish candidate for the presidency.
"The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) is going to go by Fouad Hussein to Baghdad, and there will be a discount and we respect the democratic experience that will decide who is the favorite," KDP leader Repin Salam said in an interview on Sunday.
He added that "we wish to reach an agreement within the Kurdish house and come out with one candidate for this position, but the choice now left to the other Shiite and Sunni blocs, who decides who will be president of the Republic and the subject now out of the hand of the Kurds."
The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, said his party decided to go by his candidacy
Barham Saleh to Baghdad alone, and offered to vote for the presidency.
