Alsumaria News / Baghdad
A political source said on Wednesday that the vote would reveal the largest bloc capable of passing or blocking the vote on ministers.

Arab newspaper quoted a political source as saying that "a number of blocs are still insisting on supporting their candidates to take over ministries," adding that "there is adherence to Faleh al-Fayadh candidate for the Ministry of the Interior."

He added that "some blocs can pass their candidates to the ministries, in the case of resort to the option of the majority," rejecting "the policy of breaking the will of some political blocs."

The source said that "failure to reach an agreement on the remaining eight ministers in the government of Abdul Mahdi, means to go to parliament to vote and resolve the matter under the dome of the House of Representatives," pointing out that "the vote will reveal the largest bloc capable of passing or blocking the vote on ministers."

On October 25, the Iraqi parliament gave confidence to Abdul Mahdi and 14 ministers from the new government, while eight ministries have been left vacant so far - ministries of defense, interior, planning, immigration, justice, education, higher education and culture - due to disagreements between the blocs on the names of candidates.
