"According to my information, we had no role in this visit," Noer told a news conference

"But we always encourage Arbil and Baghdad to meet and dialogue," he said, calling on the two sides to hold constructive dialogues

The Iraqi Seed Production Company (AISP), listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange, agreed to distribute cash dividends of 500 fils per share

The company explained in a statement to the stock exchange, that the distribution represents 50% of the company's paid capital

The company's current capital is 10.5 billion dinars, distributed over 10.5 billion shares, with nominal nominal value of one dinar per share   LINK

Walkingstick:  Washington: Bill to punish those who threaten the security of Iraq

The US House of Representatives passed a bill Tuesday demanding that the US administration impose sanctions on terrorist organizations and countries that threaten Iraq's security and stability, led by Iran.

The bill stipulates that the US president should identify individuals and groups in Iraq that should be included in the list of terrorist organizations and impose sanctions on them, as well as submit a report to Congress detailing these groups.

The bill also imposes on the US State Department a list of armed organizations supported by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The sanctions range from freezing funds and resources to not granting visas to enter the United States and canceling any previous visas
.
The Senate should also approve a copy of the draft before it is sent to the White House

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq, Ambassador Moayed Saleh, was elected Vice-President of the Meeting of the 17 States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Anti-Personnel Mines [APLC] during the meeting at United Nations Headquarters in Geneva last Monday.

The meeting was opened by Afghan Foreign Minister Salaheddine Rabbani and the Special Envoy to the Convention on the Prohibition of Anti-personnel Mines, the President of the National Commission for Rehabilitation and Demining in Jordan, and the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.   LINK

The Central Bank of Iraq, on Wednesday, banks and exchange companies authorized not to grant the dollar to those wishing to travel to Iran

A document issued by the Central Bank and obtained "Economy News" a copy, not to grant the dollar currency to those wishing to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran and possible to replace the dollar in another currency

The document referred to the contents of the announcement of the president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce on the cancellation of the dollar in trade with Iraq  LINK

"The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Wednesday the head of the UN mission in Iraq, Jan Kubic, during the meeting discussed the political situation in the country and the completion of the government and the meeting of the Security Council on Iraq and the reconstruction of Iraq And the entry of investment companies, in addition to the situation in the region and US sanctions on Iran.

"The international support and broad satisfaction towards the new government and the prime minister through the meeting of the Security Council, which allocated its meeting to Iraq, stressing the full support of the United Nations and the international community to the current government."

Although Iraq completed this month handing over about two tonnes of documents it seized from Kuwait 27 years ago, but an official said the Kuwaiti National Archives were still missing.

Successive Iraqi governments have affirmed their commitment to extraordinary efforts to provide progress in the missing files and the Kuwaiti archives, and to meet with witnesses to determine the fate of missing Kuwaitis and nationals of other countries

The fate of hundreds of Kuwaiti citizens remains unknown since the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait in 1990. The National Archives of Kuwait also looted during the occupation

The payment of Iraqi compensation was suspended in 2014 after the invasion of an organization advocating vast areas in Iraq, but resumed later. Baghdad is due to hand over 0.5% of its oil revenues in 2018, rising annually until the end of 2021 to pay $ 4.6 billion still owed to Kuwait

The Iraqi embassy in Kuwait announced last week that Iraq handed over the Kuwaiti side 136 micro-film from the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Yawm

The Iraqi ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammed Hussein Bahr al-Ulum, said in an interview that "Iraq delivered 136 micro-film from the archives of the Kuwaiti newspaper today to the Kuwaiti side," noting that "the handover took place in the presence of the United Nations representative in Iraq

He added that "Iraq has previously referred to some of the coins of the Central Bank and the returns of some Kuwaiti government departments, such as the archives of Kuwait Radio and national television

He said that "one of the provisions of UN resolution 833 provides for the return of private property and missing persons belonging to Kuwait, which was lost during the invasion of Saddam Hussein's regime of Kuwait," adding that "Iraq is working seriously to meet its obligations to Kuwait

Earlier, Arab media quoted diplomats as proposing to activate international judicial cases that would stop the indefinite "charge" even if financial compensation was paid, a charge of stealing the Kuwaiti archives

The diplomats promised to search for something called the Kuwaiti archives is absurd and impossible to achieve, and it is unfair to pursue the charge more than an Iraqi generation that is not guilty of what happened. In the view of those that it is no longer useful to hold the Iraqi people responsible for what happened only if they considered that the Iraqis and Saddam Hussein is one part
