The Central Bank imposes the guardianship of branches of two Iranian banks

A source familiar with the report said Saturday that the central bank has imposed its guardianship on the branches of the bank 'Parsian' and the bank 'Melli Iran' Iranians, noting that the bank took over the management of the branches of the banks in Baghdad and the provinces.
The source said that 'the decision comes against the backdrop of bankruptcy facing the branches of the two banks in Iraq and this requires urgent intervention by the Central Bank', indicating that 'bankruptcy comes as a result of US sanctions on Iran, and the difficulty of getting hard currency'.
