Planning plans to launch projects of the Social Development Fund

Baghdad / ... The Ministry of Planning and the World Bank, a meeting to start the launch of projects of the Social Development Fund, in the provinces covered by it.

"This meeting complemented previous meetings with the World Bank team to discuss the course of work in the Social Development Fund, in the presence of Rene Solano, the representative of the bank, who received the project recently to see the most important activities of all the teams," said Qusay Abdel Fattah, head of the fund's targeting team.

He pointed out that "some financial issues need clarification and presented by the financial team to solve these problems."

"The meeting is very important and will be on several days to discuss all related issues," he said, hoping that these meetings would come up with proposals to facilitate tasks and confirm the course of other projects.

"The Social Fund for Development project is an important part of the work of the World Bank," said World Bank Representative Renee Solano. "This project will develop some community services at the local level throughout Iraq."

"This meeting was designed to create the groundwork for launching projects in three governorates, Salahuddin, Muthana and Dahuk," he said. "These meetings have a short-term action plan, which could help the government launch subprojects in the next three to four months. "
