The document revealed the Iraqi Oil Ministry that Royal Dutch Shell Dac approached the Iraqi government to reduce the expected production from Majnoon oil field in Basra province of 1.8 million barrels to one million barrels per day, and suggested to extend the duration of the project from seven to twenty years.
