Iraqi government decided to raise the price of fuel used for cars (450) dinars to (750) dinars per liter,


Ali al-Moussawi said processing manager at the Oil Ministry in a press statement on Saturday that the Cabinet decided to raise the prices of fuel used in automobiles, pointing out that the decision will be implemented after ratification in mudallis Minister,

He added that fuel prices at the moment do not fit and the global market, indicating that neighboring countries prices much more than the price of Iraq,

The Oil Ministry has decided to increase the prices of petroleum products starting from the first of July, becoming the price of a liter of gasoline Enhanced 450 Iraqi dinars.

Moussawi attributed this increase to the pressure from the International Monetary Fund and the Paris Club, which should be raised subsidies on petroleum products.

This is the fourth time that the ministry decides to raise the prices of gasoline, and was the last time you raised fuel prices in the month of March when they raised the price per liter to 4,500 dinars.

He also noted that the Ministry of Finance stopped financial allocations earmarked for the import of oil derivatives, indicating that the product locally does not cover the actual need of the country.
