Date: Mon, 05/21/2012 15:12

Rule out the member list MP for the renewal / coalition in Iraq / Algehiche Osman, for the political blocs, which met in Erbil, Najaf, on something of the concessions offered by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, and they know it.
He said Algehiche in a statement (of the Agency news) said on Monday: The political crisis and the outstanding issues between the blocks, are still ongoing and meetings held between some of the blocks have not achieved something about this crisis, surprising from the refusal of some political blocs from non-attendance of meetings of the blocks in the capital, Baghdad .

The Iraqi MP: that the political blocs, which met in Erbil, Najaf, can not get something from the concessions that may be presented by al-Maliki, stating: that these blocks also can not do anything, including withdrawal of confidence from the Prime Minister.

He Algehiche: If these blocks do do something, to have to hold an emergency session of the Council of Representatives and the vote to withdraw confidence from the al-Maliki, adding that most of the political struggles of partisan blocs on issues and personal.

Deputy for Iraq: political blocs will not get any concessions from Maliki Empty this last sentence is true to a degree

Post  Admin Mon May 21, 2012 1:04 pm

This part of the sentence is true!

to have to hold an emergency session of the Council of Representatives and the vote to withdraw confidence from the al-Maliki,

They will have to call a special meeting of the House of Rep's and they will have to vote, and they need to get 2/3's vote, Now remember they have 325 members of the House of Rep's , sort of, some were removed because of forged documents and others were moved to the Council of Ministers, and the House of Rep's members that are gone were never replaced that we have seen.

So if they are still using the 325 members, and they need 2/3's vote, they will need 245 members to vote him out of no Confidence!

This is in their Constitution the 2/3's vote.

Know if you have gone back how many members have ever shown up for the House of Rep's?

Legal representative: opposition blocs have the 163 votes of no confidence for Prime Minister

On: Tuesday 22/5/2012 7:31

 Baghdad / Iyad al-Tamimi
After a political movement in which leaders and leaders of political blocs several meetings to resolve the situation and the problems between the State of Law coalition and Iraqi forces on the one hand, and between central government and the region on the other hand, came Arbil meeting with the participation of the leader of the Sadrist movement to come out of an eight-point paper

The ninth was to set a deadline of 15 eleven days for the owners to answer the demands, either the meeting of Najaf last and which included a number of personalities, party leaders, came out deadline week last as well as the reports about the existence of two missions, however, the National Congress leader Ahmad Chalabi, the National Alliance, the first President of Ibrahim al-Jaafari coalition to find a replacement for Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in a week and other personal nomination for the post of prime minister, and the second to President Jalal Talabani to submit a formal request to parliament to withdraw confidence from the al-Maliki.
For his part, played down the coalition of state law, the significance of the letters, saying that the government is not the owners or to a coalition of state law, describing the calls for the withdrawal of confidence to "political maneuvers".

As confirmed by a member of the Legal Committee of the MDC MP for the nice Mustafa, the possibility of having the political blocs of opposition to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, parliamentary votes of no confidence with him.

Mustafa said in a statement to the extent that "the demands of political blocs, the Kurdistan Alliance, and the Sadrists and the Iraqi List, is the real demands can not be marginalized."

Said Mustafa, "according to the numbers of parliamentary seats, these blocks have more than 163 votes, and you can withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister.

He called the change-Maliki to make concessions to the political blocs and to respond to its demands, rather than aggravate the political situation, no reason to resort to the blocks for the withdrawal of confidence, ruling out at the same time that the Maliki to provide concessions in order to get out of the political crisis.

Conversely consider a coalition of state law that demands political maneuvers denying the existence of any formal request to withdraw confidence from the al-Maliki.

A member of a coalition of state law, the National Alliance MP Ehsan Al-Awadi, the claim of no confidence for Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is just "political maneuvering", accusing the losers in the political process to raise problems in order to get the character positions.

He said Al-Awadi's "term": there is no formal request to withdraw confidence from Maliki, but rather just talk for the purpose of media pressure on the government in order to obtain personal gain.

And al-Awadi, that there is a misunderstanding of the mechanism that I talked about the legal committee, where the 163 seats for the withdrawal of confidence in a state government that has asked the Parliament resolved, stressing that "this case, the Parliament needs 217 votes two-thirds of the members of the House of Representatives so that they can dissolve the parliament ".

He added that "the Constitution defined the mechanism to withdraw confidence from the government mechanisms can not withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister only, but all cabin-governmental organizations", pointing out that the owners of one voice in the Council of Ministers and all the blocks of votes in the Council.

He accused the MP of the coalition of state law said about them "losers" in the political process to raise problems in order to obtain personal positions, "I accuse al-Maliki to raise problems and vice versa, because Maliki is seeking to resolve problems faced by their country."

To the detection of the Iraqi List MP Ahmed electrodes of the existence of the movement by political parties to guide the President of the Republic a formal request to parliament to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

Electrodes and said that "the meeting was marked Najaf, said that the time given to the government has ended and there is no convincing answer to the political parties which Barsaúlha sent to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki."

He added that "no confidence will be discussed at the meetings of Irbil this week, unlikely to settle it in a day or two because he needed intensive meetings.

Electrodes and denied the existence of alliances, but he convergence of views, following "is still the prime minister is due to the National Alliance of the latter is required to present an alternative candidate for al-Maliki for prime minister.

In contrast the independent MP Jawad Albzona, for moving the political blocs to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki after the end of the legislative recess, noting that the President of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari and President of the National Congress Ahmed Chalabi, the favorite to take over as prime minister.

Albzona said in a statement yesterday that the leaders of political blocs, which met in Erbil and then in Najaf and arrived at the conviction that they have to be a radical change and therefore decided to give one week notice to the owners to carry out reforms.

He added that "al-Maliki is unable to respond to the demands that will move the political blocs to withdraw trust him or demanding early elections", following: He was supposed to be a meeting of Najaf, a crucial but the blocks can not get enough votes to withdraw confidence from Maliki that we will try to In the coming days collecting the votes of no confidence. "

The MP pointed out that the independent process of withdrawal of confidence will begin after the end of the legislative recess and forming a new government is Prime Minister of the National Alliance, likely to be the President of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari and President of National Congress of Ahmad Chalabi, the most likely to take over as prime minister.

And timed the 15 days set by the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in the letter sent by the leader of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, last Thursday to begin the implementation of decisions of the meeting of the five leaders in Arbil, which was held the 28 of April, and included a focus on the importance of meeting the national and the need to adhere its decisions that come out of and commitment to the Constitution which defines the form of the state and the relationship of the three powers and the independence of the judiciary and the nomination of the names of the security ministries to be ratified by the House of Representatives during the week if there is an honest and serious intent by al-Maliki.

The meeting was held in Erbil last meeting in Najaf, and did not come out the results of the meeting relating to a declared or a new political crisis.
