Erbil, May 21 / May (Rn) - A statement issued by the office of President Jalal Talabani on Monday that the Prime Minister for Energy Hussein al-Shahristani, welcomed the formation of a committee on the sources of "smuggling of oil."
Hussain al-Shahristani The statement said the Iraqi official welcome came after a meeting with Talabani in Baghdad.
He pointed out that al-Shahristani, welcomed the proposal of the President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, the formation of a joint committee to investigate the sources of oil smuggling.
The statement added that al-Shahristani, Talabani asked to postpone the decision to stop processing the Kurdistan region of petrol for a period of one month to be processed position on this issue.
The Iraqi Oil Minister Abdul Karim and coffee had issued a decision to stop processing the Kurdistan region of petrol on Monday.
