Anticipate and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak, out of Iraq under penalty of sanctions imposed on it under Chapter VII, starting next year, stressing that Kuwait, the leadership, government and people, carrying Iraq's good intentions and wishes him prosperity and stability; because it will reflect Kuwait.

He stressed that "Kuwait has expanded since 2003 and since the change of regime in Iraq, concrete steps and information, to improve the image of Kuwait to the Iraqi people and vice versa .. In addition to the close cooperation with the international institutions that govern some relationship between the two parties."
It is noteworthy that Iraq is subject since 1990 to Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, which imposed after the invasion of the regime of former President Saddam Hussein of Kuwait in August of the same year, and this item allows the use of force against Iraq as a threat to international security, in addition to large amounts of frozen its assets in the financial global banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion.
The Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations have recently made progress in relation to resolve some of the outstanding problems, as the parties agreed to settle many of the files, including the demarcation of the border and the debt of Iraqi Airways to the State of Kuwait.
