UN: Syria's peace conference could be held next month
Follow-up / Baghdadi news / .. Announced by the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon said he hoped to hold a peace conference on Syria next month, although there is still a lot of work to achieve this goal.
And Ban Ki-moon said in a press statement seen by / Baghdadi news / on the conference that he "spoke to the joint Arab UN envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, on Friday morning," noting that "they are seeking to hold this conference in October (October)." He Ki-moon that "there are still many details to be agreed upon prior to the conference, which will be held in Geneva, such as the first Peace Conference, which was held last year, and whether Iran will participate in the meeting, in addition to the question of the representation of the Syrian opposition."
