Protection of Iraqi products will limit the competition of imported

Revealed the parliamentary Economic Committee for the completion of the version prepared for the vote on the draft law of the First Amendment to the Law on the Protection of Iraqi products , is likely to pass after the legislative recess .

Committee member Rep. Qusay F saw that the new law is one of the important laws that promote the recovery of the productive sectors and the reduction of imported goods .

Juma said in a statement ( morning) : "The relevant committees conducted necessary adjustments have positive impact on product support of Iraq," saying it included the protection of agricultural products , while the Law No. ( 11) for the year 2010 to ensure the protection of industrial products only .

The aim of the law No. ( 11) into harmony with the new changes that have occurred in the Iraqi economy and the opening of markets to international trade , and the purpose of building a national industry and to avoid damage to it from the harmful practices of the policies of dumping products or increases unjustified in imports or imported products backed by exporting countries to Iraq , leading to the loss of the conditions of fair competition for the purpose of taking appropriate measures to protect the Iraqi products and local producers .
