Association of private banks: the banking rate of growth fell to less than 15% of Baghdad

Dinars / .. private banks association, confirmed that the banking rate of growth has fallen by less than 15% due to the current security conditions, while noting that the banking system in Iraq suffering from the recession as a result of the lack of real development in the country.
The executive director of the Association Abdul Aziz Hassoun told / JD /: "The current security conditions have had adverse effects of the banking business in terms of development wheel stopped and declining growth of the economy", adding that "the actual results of the five banks for the first this year was very limited compared to last year." .
"The ratio of the banking business growth in the past year, more than 20%, while in the current year fell to less than 15%, particularly since there banker recession and there is no big banking transactions because of the security situation in the country" .
