General Amnesty Law

Article - 1 and exempted general amnesty for Iraqi sentenced to death or to a penalty or deprivation of liberty or a fine, whether the measures and Jahia or judgment in absentia, has earned degrees bits or not acquired and without prejudice to civil liability or disciplinary or disciplinary.

Article 2 applies the provisions of Article (1) of the Act on the accused all except those who have committed one of the offenses set forth in article (4) of this Act, whether taken legal proceedings against them or who have complaints did not move against them, whether their cases were in the role of the investigation or in the role of the trial cleared and released by a decision of the committee formed under Article (6) of the Act after its decision to acquire the degree of bits.

V. offenses against the statutory bodies set out in Articles (223 224 226) of the Penal Code No. (111) of 1969 (amended).

Article - 5. exempted from the provisions of this law included a general amnesty law No. (19) for the year 2008 or a special pardon.

Article 6 I. form a committee or more orders of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in each appellate district responsible for implementing the provisions of this law shall be headed by a judge no less Rate for Class II and the membership of two judges and a public prosecutor in front of one of the members of the Committee of Public Prosecutions.

Thirdly - decisions issued by the committees formed under this law can be appealed in which of the injured or on behalf of a law or of the public prosecutor within thirty (30) days from the date of issue and that before the Federal Court of Cassation in criminal offenses and in front of the Court of Appeal as discriminatory in misdemeanors and infractions and be issued as a result of the appeal decisions are final.

Fourthly - on the committees formed under the law of this notice to the depositor has sentenced or suspended by the decision issued after the acquisition become final.

Article - 7. If committed relieved him under the provisions of this law intentional felony within five years from the date of the exemption implemented sanctions against him, which relieved them of Criminal Procedure and the move against him if he had been relieved of them in League investigation or trial.

Article 9 The provisions of this law shall apply to crimes falling before its effective date.

Article - 10. Any provision contrary to the provisions of this law.

Article - 11. repealed the amnesty law No. (19) for the year 2008.

Article - 12. For the President of the Supreme Judicial Council issue instructions to facilitate the implementation of the provisions of this law.

Article -13- this law shall be the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
