G20 FINANCE MINISTERS AND CENTRAL BANK GOVERNORS’ MEETING PRESS RELEASE 4-5 SEPTEMBER 2015

GENERAL INFORMATION

The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting will be held on 4-5 September, 2015 in Ankara, at the Sheraton Hotel.

ACCREDITATION

Members of the press who wish to cover the meeting should fill in the application form and submit the documents listed below online via: https://g20.org/g20press/?event=25

The deadline for application is 17.00 (GMT+2), September 1, 2015.

a) Members of the National Press should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their press card and a photo. (Media members without press card should apply with a letter of authorization from their media organization and a copy of their official ID cards.)
b) Resident Members of the International Press in Turkey should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their press card and a photo.
c) Members of the International Press Coming from Abroad should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their local press card, a letter of authorization from their media organization and a photo.

Requests received after 17.00, September 1 and incomplete applications will not be processed.

HOST BROADCASTER AND PHOTOGRAPHER

Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) is the host broadcaster of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting and will be providing the following facilities:

Producing the LIVE signal of the main events in the meeting,
Distributing the LIVE signal by providing a TURKSAT capacity of its own,
The signal will be clean and will not be encoded,
The recorded pictures of the main events and the family photo will be available in an FTP file that the TV journalists can access at the Press Centre.

Anadolu Agency (AA) is the host photographer of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting and will be providing the following facilities:

Capturing the meeting’s open-to-press moments,
Publishing the photographs on the official G20 website (https://g20.org.tr) and Flickr account (https://www.flickr.com/photos/g20_turkey) without logo and password and free of charge.

All the fields in the accreditation forms and other related documents should be submitted properly. If not, the applications will be invalid. Press members who are not accredited cannot benefit from press facilities or arrangements.

Accreditation cards must be collected in person from the Press Desk to be set at the Sheraton Hotel (Address: Şehit Ömer Haluk Sipahioğlu Sokak (Noktalı Sokak) Kavaklıdere, Ankara. Tel: 0 312 457 60 00) starting from 9:00 am (GMT+2) on September 3.
