UNHCR: Final results of the elections will be announced this evening

The Electoral Commission confirmed on Friday its intention to announce the final results of parliamentary elections this evening.



"The final results of the elections will be announced at 10 pm today," the commission said in a brief statement carried by state television, followed by Alsumaria News.

The head of the electoral administration in the Electoral Commission, Riad Badran announced on Wednesday that the final results of the elections will be announced within two days, while revealing the presence of staff members of the UNHCR by virtue of the hostages in Kirkuk.

The Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq announced on Saturday night the final results of the 2018 parliamentary elections at the level of lists and seats.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Sawsan Alliance, backed by prominent cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, won parliamentary elections, the Independent Electoral Commission said on Saturday.
