The uncertainty surrounding the results of the counting and manual counting of the results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections led to the delay in the formation of the new government, while opening the door to new calls adopted by the coalition of "State of Law" led by Nuri al-Maliki, who called for early elections.

"The issue of manual counting and sorting is still very vague, and leaks conflicting on the results," said a political official familiar with "the file entered the box of political bargaining and waiting for a political settlement, to resolve the formation of the Great Bloc."

He pointed out that "the Iraqi street is waiting for these results, for fear of entering Iraq in a dark tunnel in the event of failure to resolve." He stressed that "the delay of resolving this file and the doubts that began around him, giving the opportunity for the losing blocs to exploit the situation, and push for new demands, does not serve the political process in the country"

He stressed that "the need to resolve this file, as soon as possible, and close the door to new proposals and crises, especially as everyone expects it will cause the delay of the formation of the government for several months."

Given this ambiguity over the results of manual counting, the coalition of state law questioned the possibility of forming a strong government, calling for early elections.

"The results of the elections will not produce a strong government that can live up to the demands of the Iraqi people, but will produce a very weak quota government because of the unfair election law and because of the election commission," MP Mohammad al-Chihoud said in a press statement on Saturday. Politicized and false elections ".

He called for "early elections, within a maximum period of one year, with a fair election law on an individual basis and multiple constituencies in each governorate during this year, as well as independent elections, not just the Board of Commissioners, Centers and general directors, to the UNHCR Board ".

Politicians confirm that the call of Maliki's coalition, is an attempt to coup on the electoral process because of its loss. The leader of the Sadrist, Fadhil al-Saadi, said that "Maliki is trying with his new ideas, coup on the results of the elections that failed, in an attempt to compensate for this failure."

He stressed that "political alliances continue their dialogues, and that the dialogues will be on the most after the announcement of the results of manual counting, and that they remain confident of the survival of the first coalition to choose the people," referring to "the seriousness of Maliki's calls and not to recognize the choice of the people."

Talking about "unexpected" results of counting and manual counting has changed the overall political alliances.

It is noteworthy that the Electoral Commission did not set a specific date for the announcement of the results of the counting and hand counting of the results of parliamentary elections, while observers warn of a new crisis because of it.
