The integrity of Kurdistan announces the transfer of 59 files on charges of corruption to the judiciary

The Kurdistan Region Integrity Commission announced Tuesday that it had investigated 125 files during the first six months of this year, while 59 of them were referred to the judiciary.

The head of the Integrity Commission, Ahmed Anwar, told a news conference attended by Alsumaria News that "125 corruption files were investigated throughout the Kurdistan region to the judiciary during the first six months of this year," adding that "59 files have been referred to the judiciary."


Anwar said that "there are 112 files on charges of corruption in the trial, and was resolved 32 files and included 11 files amnesty year."

The Kurdistan Region Integrity Commission announced earlier that investigations were underway and several files related to corruption were referred to the judicial authorities in the region.
