Samson: Federal Court endorses the names of the winners of the elections of the House of Representatives

The Federal Supreme Court on Sunday ratified the final results of the parliamentary elections.

"The Supreme Federal Court held its session this morning in the presence of its members and considered the request to ratify the final results of the elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives," the spokesman of the court Ayas al-Samuk said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press.

"After checking and deliberating the names of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and objections to some of them, the court decided to ratify the names received, and the decision was issued by consensus." LINK

Expert: The value of the dollar is going to rise and the central bank will develop solutions

BAGHDAD, Iraq -

The economic expert, on behalf of Jamil Antoine, said on Friday that the value of the dollar is going to rise in light of the conditions experienced by the region as a result of US policies, noting that the central bank put solutions to avoid the rise of the dollar.

Antoine said that "US sanctions against Iran will affect the Iraqi economy, as the value of the dollar will rise after the increase in demand for it."

He added that "the appreciation of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, it is imperative for the central bank to increase the amount launched by the dollar in the Iraqi markets."

He pointed out that "the central bank has developed solutions, the increase in the value of the dollar, by launching the dollar in larger quantities than the former in order to create a balance between him and the dinar."

He explained that "Iraq is committed to its financial policy in foreign transactions, especially in relation to the dollar, to ensure the continuation of these transactions without any obstacles." link
Samson: Victory: Abadi, our candidate for prime minister and talks on forming the largest bloc continues

The coalition of victory, on Sunday, that Haider Abadi his only candidate for prime minister, pointing out that the talks to form the largest bloc continues.

"The bloc of victory is solid and unified in its policies, and it agrees to nominate Abadi as prime minister and there is no other candidate," spokesman Hussein al-Adli said in a statement.

Al-Adly pointed out that "victory is a national political project that represents the reform and reconstruction of the state and its institutions in a way that ensures that the stations of failure and corruption will be overcome and the will will be respected."

The Spokesman stressed that "the talks continue to form the largest parliamentary bloc, which has the responsibility of governance to meet the aspirations of the people and the interests of the country's highest at this critical stage." LINK

Printing Iraqi currency to replace the damaged

Iraqi economic sources reported that the Central Bank of Iraq printed great quantities of small Iraqi currency to replace the damaged ones.

Iraq suffers lack of small currencies at the present time of 250, 500 and100 dinars, due to the increase in damaged banknotes.

The lack of small currencies hindered the economic movement in daily dealing in the country, the sources added. LINK
MilitiaMan: The below is showing me that the they are in the process of pumping smaller groups into the market now. They are also pumping the dollar out. Smaller groups in my opinion are going to be less than 250.. ~ MM

MilitiaMan: They are telling us they are pumping in the small groups that have been printed already. We know from CBI spread sheet (Delta) they did this for the Lower Denoms ( Small Groups, Small Categories, etc,.) . They told us weeks ago (07/30/2018) they were having liquidity issues with the 250, 500 and 1,000.

Well they didn't just print them, they printed smaller groups awhile ago as aforementioned.. They were not and are not those just mentioned, that makes absolutely no sense, as if they did, they wouldn't have had a crisis in the first place. The new currency is not those, as noted below from 2013 anyway and of more recent as well. imo ~ MM

"According to Iraq's semi-official Alsabaah newspaper, the finance committee received specimens of the new Iraq banknotes from the Central Bank of Iraq.The specimens were of the 25, 50, 100, and 200 dinars. The committee urged the central bank to delay the introduction of the new currency from January 2013 to July 2013 to study all the aspects of the process.

Other Iraqi media reports state that the new currency will be issued in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 dinars for banknotes and 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 fils, plus 1 and 2 dinars for coins."

I don't believe for a moment they would have had a run of new 250, 500, 1,000 IQD notes in a two week period real close at this stage fr the MR, as the complaints from the shop owners was noted on 07/30/2018.. No way! They are telling us they are pumping less dollar and pumping large quantities of smaller groups so they can collect and sort.

The 250s, 500s and 1000s will coincide imo and do the same thing with the few that are left anyway or those that are being held by citizens that know what they own, as they draw in more large notes. That is how I see what WS posted today.. "Yep" imo ~ MM

They just told us the policy today that with the math that in the conclusion 5 says they are pumping out the dollar less now.. Decreasing the use of the Dollar and that is a prerequisite of the IMF.. ~ MM

MilitiaMan: They are imo finishing the process at that accelerated pace we have heard of. They even now are saying within hours or by tomorrow they will ratify the elections..

Not that that has to be done, imo, it will be done though. I see it as a measure of safety and all to be on the up and up..

And imo, it will be before the rate changes internationally for that reason and maybe others.. Fascinating times... EOS and imo.. ~ MM
