JJimmyJJ:  I think the only question left is if they will allow Maliki to negotiate terms of his surrender,  or if will they require his surrender to be unconditional. 
 
StephenMac63:   IMO, Maliki is not in the position to ask for conditions. Those days are long gone. Now he will be picked up and he will be kicking and screaming all the way to the gallows while claiming "I Did It For The Country", pretty much the same way Saddam did. If he denies any wrongdoing I am sure there are many canaries on standby that have written statements in exchange for lighter sentences for themselves.

The life he was accustomed to........... is now over. He will be held accountable for his actions and decisions. An intersting point though, it was Nouri Al Maliki that signed Saddam Hussein's Execution Order.
