A political source revealed on Monday the names of candidates for the post of President of the Republic.

The source said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The number of candidates for the post of President of the Republic are six people."

"These are Sardar Abdullah, Latif Rashid, Mullah Bakhtiar, Fadel Mirani, Barham Salih and Salim Shoshaki," the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The House of Representatives announced on Monday the opening of the nomination for the post of President of the Republic.
