The Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Al Halbusi received in his office on Sunday a delegation of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce headed by Jaafar Rasul Al-Hamdani.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to trade issues and ways to develop them and provide the potential for its success, serving the national economy.

The meeting also stressed the importance of activating the investment law and strengthening economic security and building trade relations with neighboring countries in order to ensure an attractive environment for investment, as well as speed up the legislation of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.

The delegation expressed the idea of ​​establishing an integrated economic village alongside Baghdad International Airport, which is dedicated to the establishment of investors, in order to facilitate their procedures and accelerate them, as he praised the idea and promised to study.
