The House of Representatives votes on amending the law of the Fund for the recovery of Iraq's funds and recommends the abolition of the biological and applied systems

The House voted in its fifteenth session held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohamed Halbouser, the President of the House of Representatives, on Thursday 2/5/2019, in the presence of 184 deputies on two laws and a parliamentary resolution, and discussed the provision of ration card items, as well as reading one draft law.

At the beginning of the session, Majlisali voted on the first amendment to the Iraqi Fund Recovery Law No. (9) for the year 2012, submitted by the Integrity and Finance Committees with a view to recovering Iraq's funds, encouraging the collaborators and granting broader powers to administer the fund.

Mr. Halaboussi stressed that the law concerns the money of the former regime before 2003 and was sent by the previous government and was subjected to legislative mechanisms through the first reading as well as reading and discussing the report on it.

The Council concluded the first reading of the proposed law to restore the employees of the Ministries of Interior and Defense to the service provided by the Security and Defense Committee in order to restore the opportunity to the members of the Ministry of Interior and volunteers from the soldiers in the Ministry of Defense employees who have long been trained and qualified to carry out their duties and duties to continue to perform these tasks and what they showed Courage and sacrifices made to defend the homeland in the war against the gangs of the terrorist and the loyalty of those who were martyred or wounded during the performance of duty and despite the fact that they provided the ministry with a certificate of elementary school non-fundamentalism, which had no effect The legal or financial centers of other police personnel and volunteers of contracted soldiers.

The Council discussed the provision of ration card items at the request of MP Razak Muhaibis.

The applicant questioned the reasons for the inability of the Ministry of Commerce on the lack of funds allocated for the supply of materials, despite the availability of the Ministry of Finance or not to buy supplies from the local market in the event of difficulty importing from abroad, demanding accountability of the defaulters in the Ministry of Commerce and called them to the House of Representatives for their causes Not to secure the ration card items and quality and the need to add other materials to it, calling for the continued distribution of flour and the obligation of officials in the Ministry of Trade distribution of food supplies during the month of Ramadan.

The interventions of ladies and gentlemen focused on the need to increase financial allocations to provide the ration card items.

Then the Council voted on a parliamentary resolution including the government's recommendation to cancel the work of the biological and applied system currently adopted in the scientific branch of preparatory and replace it with the previously approved school system and from the academic year 2019-2020 and recommend to the Ministry of Education in consultation with the regions and governorates not organized in the province, The provisions of Article 59 of the Constitution.

The Council completed the vote on the draft industrial cities law submitted by the Committee of Economy and Investment for the purpose of organizing, establishing, developing, managing and operating industrial cities and maintaining them in accordance with contemporary experiences, encouraging private investment, enhancing the capabilities of the national economy, attracting foreign investments and creating jobs and achieving sustainable development.

The Presidency of the Council also decided to add a general topic to the discussion on the agenda concerning the targeting of security forces in the province of Kirkuk at the request of the Sadiqon bloc.
