(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The House of Representatives at its 27th session, held under the chairmanship of Mohammed Al Halbusi, the President of the Council on Tuesday, in the presence of 175 deputies to read two laws and discuss issues of service affecting the lives of citizens.

In turn, the chairman of the council, the Education Committee, called for urgent hosting of those concerned in the Ministry of Education to take immediate action on addressing the lack of exam centers in the areas.

In another matter, the Council postponed the vote on the draft law on the first amendment to the law of seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property belonging to the pillars of the former regime No. (72) for the year 2017 and submitted by the committees of finance and legal and reconciliation and tribes until discussed with the Presidency of the Council and heads of parliamentary blocs tomorrow Wednesday at the Constitutional Hall.

Then the Council completed reading a report and discussing the draft law of the Supreme Iraqi Maritime Authority and submitted by the Services and Reconstruction Committee.

The MPs' interventions focused on the importance of linking the maritime authority to the cabinet, valuing the committee's efforts in legislating the law.

For its part, the Committee stressed the importance of further study of the proposals submitted by deputies on the law.

The council called for reading and discussing the draft law on the organization of the establishment of Allawi for the sale of fruits, vegetables and animals provided by the committees of agriculture, marshes, water, finance, services and reconstruction, in addition to discussing the proposed health insurance law submitted by the Health and Environment Committee.

In another context, the Council discussed a number of service issues submitted by the deputies and included the need to expedite the submission of the final accounts of the federal budgets from 2013 until now and to inform the Council of the results of the investigative committees established by the Council since the beginning of the parliamentary session, Hosting the Bar Association to clarify its decision to hold test exams for graduates of the Faculty of Law before granting them membership in the union.
