Al-Attar calls for issuing an economic newspaper in the name of the private sector

On Sunday, a member of the Iraqi Economic Council, Ghadeer Al-Attar, called on civil society organizations specializing in economics to launch a newspaper on the private sector.
Al-Attar said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, "Civil society organizations that specialize in economics and finance should start issuing a monthly or bi-monthly newspaper that is in the name of the" private sector.
A member of the Economic Council explained, "The aim of this economic newspaper should be to convey and explain the concerns, problems and achievements of the private sector and its effective contribution to the national economy."
Al-Attar pointed out, "The economic press is a mirror that reflects the country's economy and the standard of living in it. It also includes covering the performance of companies and their activities, studying the markets and the changes imposed by the financial, military, social and natural crises."
